As I look back at all the decisions my parents made, I am most grateful for their decision to home-educate me and my siblings from the very beginning. Only God knew my future and the possibilities I would have to serve Him through home-education. I received Christ as my Lord and Savior when I was nine years old. Since the age of twelve, I’ve had a God-given desire and passion to work with children. Throughout my teen years I had the opportunity of working with our church Vacation Bible School, Children’s Choir, and backyard Bible clubs. I also worked with the Denton Brothers and Children’s Conferences International for four years.
In 2004 I was given the opportunity to help develop Children’s Ministries of Texas and served as a Senior Director for that ministry until this past year. I currently work as the Elementary Coordinator for my church, Faith Bible Church, and I’m thrilled to start this new season of life with Kidz Vision Ministries! I’m thankful for the innumerous opportunities God continues to give me to work with children! I look forward to serving you and your children again in 2011!

At a young age, I saw my need for a Savior and how I could not live this life on my own. I gave my heart to the Lord and dedicated my life to serving Him, no matter where He leads me. I’m a fun loving guy that was homeschooled my entire life—I now have a bachelors degree in communications and a masters in graphic arts from North Tennessee Bible Institute and Seminary. Brought up by parents who love the Lord with all their heart, I’ve served in ministry all my life. My father, Forrest Wychopen is an author and former pastor/teacher of many years that help mold me into the man I am today. My loving mother taught me tirelessly, sticking with it and homeschooling my siblings as well. Trust me, I didn’t make it easy on her. :-)
I have owned Precision Creations since 2004 and United Media Associates since 2010. As owner/managing director, I have extensive experience in all forms of communication. From web, to graphic design, video and mobile development. You name it, we’ve probably done it. I am currently on part-time staff at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill, Texas. Between these ventures and working with KVM, I stay a little busy.
My wife, Kristin Shaffer Wychopen and I were married in April 2009. Kristin is a beautiful young, music instructor with a heart for the Lord. Kristin was also homeschooled. If you’ve ever heard her perform, you’d see that living with a concert pianist is a blast. :-) Never a shortage of great music! In April 2010 we celebrated the birth of our son, Erik Wychopen. It has been such a joy to have him in our lives and now homeschooling parents ourselves, we’re striving to teach our children to love the Lord with all their heart. We’re so grateful to still be a part of the homeschooling community and serve to help guide your kids as we teach them more about the person of Jesus Christ and who they are in Him! Giving kids vision is such a blessing!
